Draw to fight the blues, especially during trying times like these!

With unprecedented events, that is, the pandemic!, looming over the world throughout, we want to stay healthy and active (mentally, at least)!

As we actively switched all our physical classes to remote, online classes, our students, faculty, and staff members at New York Art Studio are all trying our best to get the most of the “virtual” nature of the online platform and fulfill our responsibility to keep a positive mindset with creative activities.

We might be physically remote, but we have been staying connected, drawing together and talking about it! It is hard to process all the news and information online that could be sometimes too much, but at New York Art Studio, we believe that it is always a good distraction to draw, paint, or simply just make. Now is really the time when we sit down and take time to re-examine and re-focus on things to engage in creative practice!

That said, we wanted to introduce you to some of the amazing works that students in our Visual Arts Foundation made! 😉
