Our College Prep is ideal for high school students, as well as anyone else applying to art schools or colleges for a Bachelor’s degree.

In the competitive world of art college admission, showing foundational skills and creative vision in your portfolio is essential. In our College Prep course, students learn to think creatively and visualize their ideas through creative challenges, using various art subjects and mediums.

With our personalized and one-to-one instructionstudents build strong portfolios sought by competitive art schools and colleges like RISD, MICA, SCAD, Pratt Institute, SVA, Parsons School of Design (The New School), and more.

No prior art experience is necessary to join our class!

Whether you have prior art experience or are just beginning to explore your passion for art, our course will guide you in developing the best version of your art portfolio, project by project.

Course Structure

Course Duration

Typically, our course is 6 weeks long, and each class is 4 hours long. However, you can customize your course duration and schedule based on your availability.

We offer the following course options:

  • 6 classes within 6 weeks
  • 12 classes within 6 weeks
  • 18 classes within 6 weeks
  • 4-week Intensive (up to 24 classes)

Class Format

Each class is 4 hours long and can be in-person or online.

Throughout the class, the instructor makes rounds to give personalized guidance to each student on their individual projects.

We maintain small class sizes with an average student-teacher ratio of 6 to 1 to optimize the learning experience and portfolio development process.

Our school does NOT provide art supplies, and students are responsible for their own supplies. This is because we offer a personalized project plan for each student, which includes a unique list of supplies based on their individual needs.

Our Admissions can assist with purchasing art supplies and recommend specific brands and materials upon registration.
