Frequently Asked
Questions (FAQs)
The first step is to explore which art program best aligns with your creative goals and long-term artistic journey. Once you’ve identified the program that fits your interests, you may submit an application through the provided application link to New York Art Studio, a SEVP-certified art school for international students.
After your application is reviewed and accepted at our New York City campus, we will issue you a Form I-20, which is required to apply for an F-1 student visa. With your Form I-20, you can proceed with the U.S. visa application process and prepare for entry into the United States.
For step-by-step guidance on applying for an F-1 visa and entering the U.S. as an international art student, please refer to the PDF provided.
The F-1 visa is a non-immigrant student visa that allows international students to pursue full-time study in the United States at an SEVP-certified school. Students enrolled in our SEVP-certified art program in New York City may study in the U.S. under F-1 status while participating in a structured, visa-compliant art curriculum.
If you have questions at any stage of the process, our admissions team is happy to support you and guide you through the application and enrollment steps.
Students accepted to our SEVP-certified I-20–issuing art school in the United States must prepare the following documents for their F-1 student visa interview:
- Valid passport

- SEVIS I-901 payment receipt
- Visa interview appointment confirmation
- Financial documentation demonstrating the ability to cover tuition and living expenses in the U.S.
- Academic records, such as transcripts, diplomas, and any relevant test scores
We recommend organizing these documents in advance to ensure a smooth interview process. If you have questions while preparing for your visa interview, our admissions team is available to guide you through each step.
